It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vanessa Mariah Makeham Ovalle, who passed away Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, at the age of 28. Vanessa was born on January 17th, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Fischer Funeral Care in Atlanta on Friday, July 31st, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass to honor and celebrate Vanessa's life will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Atlanta on Friday, July 31st, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Following the Mass, a Committal Service will take place at North Atlanta Memorial Park in Doraville, Georgia, at 2:30 pm.
