July 5, 1959 ~ January 13, 2024 (age 64) 64 Years Old
In loving memory of Tony Raposo, aged 64, who passed away on January 13, 2024. Born in Portugal, he was the cherished youngest child of Joseph and Rosa Raposo. Tony's journey began in Bermuda, where he spent his childhood until his early twenties. In the early 1980s, he followed his two sisters to the United States, making a new home in Atlanta.
For decades, Tony dedicated his life to the restaurant industry, creating lasting connections with the wonderful people of Atlanta. Known for his unique sense of humor and an abundance of jokes, Tony was truly a one-of-a-kind individual. Though he didn't have children of his own, he played the role of a beloved uncle to many.
Tony is survived by his sister, Inez Nicholas and leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of his nieces and nephews: Claudio Rivadeneira, Andrea Ricardo, Roberto Bosco, Gary and Stacy Raposo, Jason Deponte, , Stacy Hilton and Michael Deponte. His circle of family extends beyond blood, as he is also survived by cherished friends, including Edie Haskell, Miguel Fernandez, Roxane Coletti Peters, Sandi Burton and Hal Davis who shared over three decades of enduring friendship.
May Tony Raposo's memory be a source of comfort and his laughter echo in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched.
