Sheryl Winer



Shari Winer, a beloved resident of Marietta, GA, for 28 years, passed away on January 30, 2026. Born in Wisconsin and raised in Los Angeles, Shari’s career with Delta Airlines eventually brought her to Georgia.

Shari’s professional life was defined by dedication and a strong work ethic. She spent 30 years as a ticket agent with Delta before transitioning to a role as a senior analyst at SITA. Beyond her career, Shari was a spirited adventurer and nature lover. Whether tending to her garden, hiking local Georgia trails, or traveling the globe, she brought a vibrant energy to every experience.

A devoted volunteer with a deep love for animals, Shari held a special bond with her dog, Nina, and her cat, Princess. Family remained the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her devoted life partner, Larry Carr; her brother, Todd Winer; her sister, Tracy Leiterman and husband, Marty; and her cherished nephew, Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Shari’s memory to the Humane Society or the Good Mews Animal Foundation.
