Rena Wynnette Clay, 68, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, March 26th. Daughter of the late Dounchy and Carolyn Plymale. She was born in Atlanta, GA, where she lived her entire life. She graduated from North Fulton High School.
Wynn was known as Mom, Momma Clay, Winnie and Winnie the Pooh. She was preceded in death by her loving brothers Mark and Buck Plymale. She is survived by her son, William Sills Clay, and his wife Kate Clay.
She lived in Atlanta with her son where she helped run the family business, Eye Care Lawn Services. Upon her retirement, she spent her time volunteering for The Wounded Warriors Project, committing her life to Jesus and planting things in her garden. She was an avid Bible Study and Prayer Warriors Group member and a woman of a deep and abiding faith.
Thank you to all family and friends for so much love in her life. We'll miss her sense of humor, fun and joy she brought to our lives.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 7th, at 1:00, at 57th Fighter Group Restaurant.
