Mr. Peter (Pete) O’Brien, age 83, of Peachtree Corners, died Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness.
Pete was the epitome of an Irish gentleman who never met a stranger. His infectious personality and his ability to make people laugh brought everyone much joy. He loved music, enjoyed cooking, and could complete almost any crossword puzzle. Pete was an avid follower of all Atlanta sporting teams. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Pete retired in 2008 with over 25 years of service as an Accountant from Republic National Distributing Company.

Pete is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha O’Brien of Peachtree Corners; two daughters, Lara Sadowski (David) of Buford, and Melissa O’Brien of Decatur; and his “bonus” grandson, Derik Sadowski of Buford.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Park at 2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta GA 30318 with Reverend Scott Tucker officiating.
