Olohiye (Lohi) Ehimiaghe

Lohi Ehimiaghe went to be with the Lord on the 10th of August 2021. Although our hearts are heavy at a life cut short in its prime, we are beyond blessed and extremely thankful for the 18 years we got to enjoy the blessing that was Lohi.

Our beautiful, bubbly, generous, kind-hearted, sweet, brilliant, and God loving girl.

Lohi was born June 4th, 2003 on a beautiful summer day in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended The Wilson School, Brimmer & May, The Bement School, Phillips Andover Academy and was a proud member of the Yale Class of 2025. Lohi was a bright and shinning star. As gifted as she was academically, Lohi’s greatest gift was the joy she was able to add to the lives of each and every single person she encountered. Lohi’s interests were vast and included crew, coding, dancing, eating ramen, playing piano, singing, playing card games, spending time with friends and family and so much more.

Lohi personified being the salt and light of the earth. She was part of many communities in her 18 years of life and her positive impact can be seen in each one. Smiles, laughter, joy, hope, all of these and more followed Lohi wherever she went. Lohi was a beacon of light and there is nothing in this world that can dim a light that bright.

Lohi is survived by her father and mother, her sister and brother, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a countless number of friends.

On behalf of our entire family, thank you for reaching out to us during this very challenging time. God bless you and be gracious to all of us.
