Michael Frank Morris

Michael Frank Morris, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on April 1, 2025, in Avondale Estates, GA, at the age of 70. Born on March 26, 1955, in Savannah, Georgia, Michael lived a vibrant and meaningful life that was noted by his creativity, kindness, and a deep generosity of spirit despite the numerous hardships he endured.

A proud Navy veteran, Michael served his country with honor before embarking on a life filled with exploration and adventure. He spent time living in San Francisco, California as well as Barcelona, Spain, places that fueled his creative soul and broadened his outlook on life.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Mr. L.D. Morris, and his sister, Mrs. Lavonne Morris Westbrooks. He is survived by his loving mother, Yvonne Morris; his brother, Christopher Roy Morris; and his sons, Frank and Devon Morris.

Known for his warmth, his artistic talent, and his ability to make everyone feel like a friend, Michael leaves behind a legacy of compassion and inspiration. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services with military honors will be held Friday, April 11 at 1:00 pm at Georgia National Cemetery
