Mattie Westmoreland Freese

Mattie Westmoreland Freese, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend died Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 81.  Mattie is survived by her loving daughter, Jill Daum and her husband, Steve, of Atlanta, GA; her sons, Charles Brittain and his wife, Salina, and Avery Brittain and his wife, Kimberly. She was a proud grandmother to Corey, Charles, Chris, Shantavia, Alexus, Mikayla, and Steven. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mattie's life at a visitation on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Fischer Funeral Care in Atlanta. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm, also at Fischer Funeral Care.
