Mary Lettie Green Ginsberg, age 93, of Dunwoody, GA, passed away on January 8, 2021. Mary was born in Atlanta on March 2, 1927, to Letitia and Claud H. Green. Raised in Atlanta, she graduated from Georgia State, where she met her husband Benjamin Ginsberg, marrying on October 21, 1949. They moved to Winnetka, IL, in 1959 where they raised four children, returning to Atlanta in 1988. Mary loved the church, her friends, traveling, art, music. Most of all, “Meena” enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all playfully disagreeing as to who loved each other more. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years and son Daniel. She is survived by children Rebecca, Stephen, and Karen; daughter-in-law Marilyn Courtney; grandchildren Benjamin (son Daniel), Jessica G. Armstrong (husband Matt, children Kaden and Maya) and chosen granddaughter Bethany DeStefano. Mary will be greatly missed in this life by many. She will be interred in the Green family plot at Westview Cemetery in a private family service; a requiem mass is planned for 11am on Saturday, January 23, at St. Barnabas Church in Dunwoody.
