Louise Carvalho Booth of Buford, Georgia passed away July 17, 2026, at the age of 71.
She was born in Kohala, Hawaii on September 14, 1954. Louise earned a Diploma in Business Administration and worked as an Office Administrator, but being the Number One Mom and Grandma to her children and grandchildren was her greatest job of all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Patrick Booth; mother, Mary Carvalho; her father, Joseph Carvalho, Jr.; her brother, Edward Carvalho, Sr. (Jerilyn); and her daughter, Allison Booth.
She is survived by her siblings, Joseph Carvalho (Marcia), Pauline Pule, Mary Lou Ignacio (Miles), Evelyn Geil (James), and Samuel Carvalho, Sr. (Joanne); her daughters, Erin Elina Booth-Campbell (Leonard) and Erica Restrepo (James); and her grandchildren, Ikaika Sol Machain and Eva Nalani de La Mothe. Louise’s family would like to extend a special acknowledgement to her companion, William “Papa Bill” Kemper.
A prayer service will be held Sunday at 4 pm at St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Church. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 12:00 pm Fischer Funeral Care, 3742 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30341. The famly will receive guests one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The committal service is being arranged and will be held at Morningside Memorial Gardens, 11800 University Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Church.
