Laura Montgomery Brackett, age 95, Atlanta and formerly Neptune Beach, FL,
peacefully passed away September 2, 2023.

Laura will be remembered for her sweet soft-spoken nature and her warm,
welcoming smile. She never met a stranger and did not hesitate to give lots of
hugs. When you sat down next to her, she would immediately grab one of your
hands and start gently patting you with her other hand. She was the last of her
generation in our family having been preceded in death by all of her siblings. She
will be truly missed by all who loved her dearly.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Glenn & Debbie Brackett of
Loganville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law Laura & Steven Lynn of Dunwoody,
Georgia; grandchildren: Dean (Alissa) Nava, Bryan (Morgan) Lynn, and Becky
(Bill) Hendee; great grandchildren Hudson, Porter & Rosie Nava and Bryce
Hendee. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Brackett, Jr.; grandson,
Louis Gordon Nava. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a
charity of your choice. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday,
September 9th, 2023 at 4:00PM at Arlington Memorial Park with Rev. Minho
Chung officiating. A reception will follow at the home of Laura & Steven Lynn.
