Kevan Michael Farrell, 72, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, March 22, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia. He spent his last days surrounded by family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Kevan was a strong, proud Vietnam Veteran. He was quick to call anyone a dumbass, but also the first person there to help anyone in need (often with his backpack of tools in tow). Kevan had a passionate love affair with Haagen-Dazs ice cream, Sunkist, and telling "Grandpa" jokes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and his greatest joy in life was his two great-grandchildren.
He leaves behind many loved ones: Rosemary Malloy Farrell, his wife of 31 years, daughters Bobbi and Michelle, grandchildren Sara, Michael, Jessica, Shawn, and Emma, and great-grandchildren Kason and Kamden.
Keeping with Kevan's wishes, there will be no services. His ashes will be spread privately by his family at a later date.
Those who wish to gather in memory of Kevan are welcome to join friends and family on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Contact the family for additional details.
