Kay Karnes Wilcox

Kay Karnes Wilcox of Lilburn, Georgia, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at the age of 76. She was born on July 4th, 1949, in Loudon, Tennessee.

Kay was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Lloyd Wilcox, and her parents, Harry Cecil Karnes and Gladys Lee Karnes. She is survived by her daughter, Courtney Craig, and her husband, Aaron; son, Micah Wilcox, and his wife, Elizabeth; and grandchildren Isaiah, Abby, Mary, Hannah, Caroline, Landon, and William (Liam). Kay is also survived by her dear sister, Sarah Thomason, and her husband, Jim and her sisters-in-law: Heather Karnes and Debbie  Reagan.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kay's life at a funeral service on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at 12pm at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory—Peachtree Corners Chapel, address: 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. A committal service will take place at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at 11:00 am.
