Karen Edwards

Karen Ila Edwards, age 83, passed away on August 30, 2021. She was born June 16, 1938 in Detriot, Michigan to Alphonse Marcoux and Margaret Mullany Wells. She married the love of her life, Daniel William Edwards Sr., in 1954 who preceded her in death in 1994. Karen is also preceded in death by her eldest son, James Edwards.

One of Karen’s greatest joys was being a grandmother. She loved to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren and spoil them endlessly. She enjoyed putting together flower arrangements, finding rocks and shells for her collection, and taking pictures of everyone who came to visit her. Karen was an avid lover of animals and a supporter of animal societies across the country.

Karen is survived by her sons Daniel (Patricia) Edwards and Richard Edwards; daughter-in-law, Patricia Edwards; grandchildren, Matthew Edwards, Christina (Christopher) Cotner, Michael (Amber) Edwards, Brittany Edwards, Kathrina (Zachary) Ray, Michelle Edwards, Alexander Edwards; and her great-grandchildren Jacob Bagwell, Phillip Bagwell, Joshua Edwards, Justin Edwards, Devin Edwards, and Lydia Ray.
