Obituary
James Edward Teters, 80 of Lawrenceville, GA entered into the gates of Heaven to be with Jesus and was reunited with his wife, Sherrell of 43 years, on Monday May 1, 2023, at Life Care Center of Gwinnett.
Born in Manchester, Tennessee on October 13, 1942, Mr. Teters was the son of the late Lillie Mae Reed Teters and Jesse Alton Teters. A resident of Gwinnett County, Mr. Teters was a professional residential painter. His wife of 43 years Sherrell Ann Whitworth Teters went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2021.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Real and her husband Giacomo Real, of Indian Land, SC, and their children: Kaitlyn, Austin, and Savannah Real. He has several nephews and nieces, and friends and acquaintances who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fischer Funeral Care. The service will be family led. Interment will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park, Doraville, GA.
