Howell Curtis Latham Jr.

Howell Curtis Latham Jr., 82, passed away on August 24, 2026. He was born on November 13, 1943, and was known to family and friends as Curtis. Curtis proudly served in the United States Navy. He also played tennis, a sport that he enjoyed for over 25 years. He is survived by his former wife and dear friend, Fannie Latham, who lovingly cared for him during the last year of his life. Curtis will be remembered by his children: Howell “Curt” Latham III and his wife, Emily; Robyn Hicks and her husband, Clifton; and Steven Latham. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Addie Latham, Ginger Latham, and Everett Latham. Curtis will be deeply missed by his extended family and many cherished friends. His memory will live on through the family he loved, his service to his country, his love of tennis, and the many lives he touched. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on August 26, 2026, at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA.
