Gwinetta Marie Wade

Gwinetta Marie Wade, 73, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning,  December 26th, 2023. Daughter of the late Mildred James, she was born in Mobile, Alabama. As a young girl she committed her life to Jesus and enjoyed attending church and singing in the choir. She graduated from Mattie T. Blount High School, Class of 68’ and attended Alabama State University for undergrad before she went on to obtain her Masters degree from Ohio State University. In her latter years she lived and worked in Somerset, New Jersey. She worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb for 20 years. 

Ms. Wade was avid in her Bible studies and a prayer warrior for her family and friends. She was known as Mom, Nana, Gwinetta and Gwen. She is survived by her son, George Wade II,  daughter in law Sophie, granddaughter Isla and grandsons George, Zion and Judah
