Evelyn Ruth (Johnson) Crabb

Evelyn Ruth Crabb, of Tucker, Georgia, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born March 23rd, 1934, in Maryland.  Evelyn dedicated her life to being a wife and mother, creating a warm and loving environment for her family. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she was known for her kindness and generosity, which even her son's friends fondly remembered.  She and her husband enjoyed chaperoning her son's high school band trips.  Evelyn had a passion for playing canasta with her friends, a pastime that brought her much joy and companionship. She is survived by her devoted son, Gregory Crabb, of Tucker, GA; her brother, Marvin Johnson; her stepmother, Paula Johnson;  her two granddaughters, Rachel Crabb and Kristin Crabb, many nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Larry Bruce Crabb, son, Gary; parents:  Marvin and Marie Johnson, brother, Dennis Johnson and sister-in-law, Melissa,  A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
