Celebrating the Life of a Faithful Servant

We are saddened to announce the passing of Doris Floyd Wolfe, 97 who departed this life on November 10, 2025, at her home of 72 years in Chamblee, Georgia. Born on October 28, 1928, she lived for her Lord Jesus and her family.  Doris shared unconditional love with her family and friends, just like her Lord shares unconditional love with us. 

Doris was a cherished Mother, Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother who will be remembered for her unwavering love. Doris loved her Chamblee home and died there on her own terms. 

Doris is preceded in death by her 4 Siblings, Her husband, William F. Wolfe Jr., and her longtime companion, Alton Martin.  Her precious granddaughter, Jennifer Deese and her beloved son-in-law, Danny Deese.

Doris is survived by David Wolfe, Chamblee, Georgia. Rita Wolfe Deese, Smyrna, Georgia and Donna Wolfe Hightower, Buckhead, Georgia. 7 Grandchildren. 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. A blessed life!

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday November 14, 2025, at Fischer Funeral Home at 1:00 PM in Chamblee, Georgia. All family, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come and celebrate a life well lived.  The family will receive guests at the funeral home one hour prior to the service
