Deborah Ann Cooke passed away on May 28th, a day after her 68th birthday, at her home in Atlanta, GA.
Deborah was born May 27, 1954 in Havre de Grace, Maryland to Elizabeth and Theodore Cooke.
She worked in payroll at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and volunteered for NAMI. She attended church at Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
She loved taking vacations with Richard to Panama City Beach and getting away to Helen for a weekend. She loved telling jokes to make people laugh, handwriting cards, and giving gifts to lift friend's spirits. She read her devotions every day and always wrote in her journal. She loved her sudoku and playing scrabble with Richard. She loved her cats, music, and her grandchildren. She was always helping others. She wanted to accomplish so much more than her body, mentally and physically, would allow her to. She loved with all her heart and then some.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rod Cooke.
Survived by her husband, Richard English; Brothers, Tim Cooke and Michael Cooke; Daughter, Melissa Goldston (Steve); Grandchildren, Sam, Drew, Marlie and Jackson Goldston.
