David Hernandez

Mr. David Hernandez, son of Jose Hernandez and Veneranda Benitez, was born in Kennestone Marietta, Georgia on August 06, 2001. The second of four children, Dave was a happy energetic child loved by all. Soccer, Basketball and fishing were among many of his interests. Even when he would get pouty and frustrated, he was always laughing and smiling. Always curious, he was a lover of all foods and always strived to be the best. “Work Hard” he would always say. Constantly pushing his parents, brother and sister to try and achieve more and more!  Always bright, he learned he had an interest for being a mechanic in his teens. After graduating high school, Dave decided to pursue a career in mechanics and signed himself up to start college in 2018. After 2 years, he graduated Lincoln College of Technology with an Associate’s Degree and got a job as a mechanic working for Toyota. Tragedy hit in July 2021, Dave suffered a brain aneurysm. Always a fighter, Dave stayed hospitalized until passing in January 2022. Dave was loved and even while he was hospitalized, he showed his spirit and love for his family and saw all the love his family had for him. He is survived by his beautiful mother Veneranda, Father Jose, Brother Jose “Pepin”, Sister Keylin, and numerous Friends and family members.
