Christopher Thomas Campbell

Christopher (Chris) Thomas Campbell, 53, of Dunwoody, Georgia, passed away on May 30, 2026.

Born on December 13, 1972 in Washington, D.C. to James Campbell and Carol Campbell, Chris was intelligent at a young age, known for being the smartest kid in his class. In high school, he was the star of his class plays, and he continued to excel on the stage well into his young adult life.

Chris built a career in Atlanta, GA as a contractor, known for his pride in his work. Outside of work, he embraced life with enthusiasm and a big heart. He thrived playing poker, shooting darts, and challenging friends to a spirited game of table tennis. Musically, he was a master of the piano and guitar, often found jamming with his many friends who loved him dearly. He loved cooking and baking for those he cared about. Most importantly, he never missed a chance to cheer on the Washington Commanders (formerly Redskins). His humor, warmth, and wit made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him.

Chris is survived by his beautiful wife, Holly Cotsakis Campbell; his father, James Campbell; his stepmother, Glenda Campbell; his sister, Jamie Campbell Blair; and his stepdaughter, Carlin Zaprowski.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Campbell; his 2 sets of grandparents Isaac and Vera Campbell and Vince and Helen Mazza.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on June 14, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 PM at Tropica Bar & Cafe, located at 6470 Spalding Dr, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the joy and love Chris brought into the world. Attire is smart casual.
