Christopher Biggs Obituary

Christopher Biggs May 27, 1977 – December 27, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Chris Biggs, 47, of Marietta, Georgia. Chris left us on December 27, 2024, surrounded by his family and an endless well of love. Chris was born on May 27, 1977 to Donald Biggs and the late Mary Francis Biggs. Chris is survived by his father Donald Biggs, partner Lori Phillips, daughter Iris Biggs, granddaughter Maliah Awoskia, and brother and sister-in-law Michael and Aimee Biggs along with niece Sophie Biggs and nephew John Biggs. He also leaves behind other loving family members and friends that have become family over the years.

Chris was a devoted partner to Lori, and a proud father to Iris and grandfather to Maliah. Nothing in this world compared to the love he had for his daughter Iris. She was, hands down, the most important person in his life. He shared his home and heart with Lori and their three hilarious and lovable dogs, Poppy, Daisy, and Kaladin. His bond with his German Shepherd, Kaladin, was something special… they were inseparable, whether training or just goofing around.

For work, Chris had an incredible career in the film industry, focusing on the technical and compliance side of animated projects. He left his mark on hits like Archer, Hit Monkey, and America: The Motion Picture. Smart, meticulous, and always ready with a sarcastic remark, he was the guy who kept things running smoothly, and kept everyone laughing along the way.

Chris was funny, generous, and always looking to stir the pot. We wouldn’t have had him any other way. He was fiercely loyal, the kind of friend who always had your back, no matter what. He loved being the smartest person in the room (and, let’s be honest, he usually was), and he never missed a chance to prove it with his quick wit and endless sarcasm. He had a knack for making people laugh, even when they probably shouldn’t. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind or push your buttons, but he’d be the first one there if you needed him. Every time.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on Sunday, January 19th from 2-5pm at Barn in the Dunwoody Village. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories, laughter, and maybe a few off-color jokes in his honor.

Chris will be deeply missed, but his sharp wit, big heart, and one of a kind personality will live on in the stories we tell and the memories we cherish.
