Carolyn L. Heath

Carolyn Heath, Atlanta, died August 14, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Christopher Heath.  Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Wendy and Ashley and five grandchildren, Joe, Emily, Ava, Matt and Zach.

Carolyn was born in Siler City, NC and was the oldest of 4 children.  Carolyn married Joel in 1967 and raised her family in Atlanta, GA.  Carolyn was a Registered Nurse working in hospital, public health, and visiting nurse settings over the 20 years that she practiced. As a second career, she was a successful businesswoman owning and operating two Hallmark stores.

Carolyn was an wonderful, caring, friendly and outgoing person.  She was a mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend.  Carolyn believed everyone was “special” and she will be sorely missed.

 A graveside service will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm at North Atlanta Memorial Park, Reverend Charles Broome officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
