Arturo Cardenas Castro

Arturo Cardenas Castro, of Lawrenceville, GA passed from this life into eternal life on Sunday, May 30, 2021, due to a rare infectious disease that became terminal. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Arturo managed his illness with strength and grace and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones. On his final day, he was surrounded by his children, who are his pride and joy.

Arturo is survived by his wife, Isaura Cárdenas; his children, Oswaldo, Mayra, Karla, Daniel Cárdenas; his mother, Cruz Castro; his 3 brothers and 5 sisters; his 9 Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Arturo Cardenas was born in Mexicali, Baja California on March 18, 1960. He was prideful of his Mexican roots, but gaining his US citizenship was his biggest fulfillment. Arturo truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family. He loved sports, especially the LA Lakers and LA Dodgers. He was their # 1 fan. Arturo enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who are his biggest asset. He had an uncanny ability to reach people deep in a positive way.

The funeral services will be at St. Patricks Catholic Church. 2140 Beaver Ruin Rd Norcross, GA 30071

Viewing at the Annex on Thursday, June 10th at 5 pm- 10 am ANNEX located on the left side of the church)

Mass Ceremony Friday, June 11th at 11:00 am.
