Alma E. Goecker
Obituary
Alma Goecker passed away peacefully on March 9th with her 3 daughters by her side. Alma’s parents were missionaries in China and she and her four brothers were born in the small village of Paotingfu. She came to America at the age of 14 and graduated from Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood NJ. She received her Fashion Merchandising degree from Averett College in Danville, VA. She worked in the fashion industry in New York for several years where she met and married her husband Don. They eventually moved to Dunwoody, GA where she was an avid tennis player for many years. She loved her 3 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
