Aida passed away on Tuesday, May 18. She was 78 years old. She was born to Pablo and Juanita Ayala in Puerto Rico in 1943. She lived most of her life in New York City and Atlanta. She was an avid reader. She was well travelled as well as, of course, a Mets fan. She worked at the headquarters of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America for 30 years. She leaves behind a husband, George; grandchildren Stephanie and Matthew; a stepdaughter Josephine and stepson George II; grandchildren Christiana and George III; and siblings Angel and Carmen.
Gone but not forgotten.
Services will be held on Monday, May 24 at 11am at Skyland United Methodist Church.
